The Procedure
Curling
At the start of your appointment, your technician will ensure your skin and lashes are makeup-free and ready for the treatment.
Next, silicone pads will be placed under your eyes to protect your skin and lower lashes from the perming solution.
Your eyelashes will then be lifted onto silicone lift rods using an adhesive specially designed for eyelashes. This will be a non-toxic solution to keep your eyelashes and skin safe and irritation-free.
Once all lashes are in place using the lift rods, the perming solution will be applied. This covers the middle part of your lashes to avoid contact with the eyes and skin.
The perm solution contains thioglycolic acid which penetrates deep into the lash and helps the structure adapt to the new curl shape.
The solution is left to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. You might experience slight irritation but it’s only minimal.
Once done, your technician will take the perm solution off using swabs.
Finally, a conditioning solution is applied to the lashes using the same method as the perm solution. This is left on for 7-10 minutes before being removed.
Tinting
Next up, your technician will tint your eyelashes to make them beautifully dark and prominent.
The tinting agent will be applied to your lashes and left for around 15 minutes for the best effect.
When this time is up, your technician will remove the formula and apply a final solution to clean the lashes and remove any remaining residue.
How Long Does a Lash Lift and Tint Last?
A lash and lift tint is permanent, however, your eyelashes are not. So, the treatment will last as long as your lashes which will naturally shed after around 4-6 weeks.
In this time, the curled lashes will shed, and new lashes will grow in. To keep your eyelashes looking fabulous, you’ll need to get the treatment done every 4-6 weeks.

Aftercare
After your eyelash lift and tint appointment, it’s important to avoid getting your lashes wet for 24 hours. Also, you’ll need to avoid wearing mascara or makeup on the eyes for this time to ensure the perm solution has fully developed. However, we’re confident you won’t need to wear mascara after your lift and tint!
If you love wearing mascara, after the 24 hours is up you can apply your favorite mascara as normal. But be careful when removing your eye makeup. Don’t pull on the lashes and dab the eyes with a makeup pad rather than dragging it across the eye. This will help reduce premature shedding and keep your eyelashes looking fabulous for longer.
